Susan RuhlSusan Ruhl is President and CFO of ICC, Inc. – OI Global Partners in Denver, CO and Cincinnati, OH. ICC is a fast growing, Certified Women-Owned Business, that focuses on three key segments of our partners’ businesses to help them succeed. In the areas of Leadership Development, Executive Coaching and Career Transition, ICC is dedicated to utilizing innovative resources and market knowledge to provide the level of quality service expected from the leading companies in the areas served. Recently ICC was named as a “Top 100 Women Owned Business in Colorado.”

With more than two decades of operational and management experience, Susan has developed a sharp eye for how businesses get bloated with inefficiencies, cross-purposes and miscommunication — and how they can retool for a sleeker, smoother, strategically focused organization. As an entrepreneur who quickly built her own successful business, she also empathetically helps other business leaders to discover the power of their team. Previously, Susan held the position of Director of Financial Operations for Resnik Partners, a Career Partners International firm. As a Financial professional she brings a broad experience in all aspects of consulting including accounting, financial management, business planning and entrepreneurship to her clients.

Shawna SimcikShawna focuses on her passion to drive business excellence by staying abreast of cutting-edge research relating to organizational and career related best practices. Working in partnership with clients, Shawna designs custom career transition, executive coaching and leadership development solutions for individuals, teams and corporations to address and attain sustainable, business results.

Shawna has consulted across a broad range of industries including government, healthcare, transportation, business and professional services, retail, and oil, gas and energy. She has also held executive level positions with several Denver and Nebraska based consultancies.

Shawna is Board Director and President-elect for the Denver Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management Association (Mile High SHRM), a 2011 Outstanding Woman in Business nominee, and a four-time 40-Under-40 nominee. She is a career writer for The Colorado Business Magazine (www.cobizmag.org). Shawna holds a BA in psychology from the University of Colorado and a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Meredith’s personal mission is to partner with organizations to create “best places to work” filled with engaged employees and “follower-worthy” managers and leaders. Meredith guides leaders, teams and entire organizations to increase productivity and profitability while developing happier employees. She personally specializes in leveraging natural strengths and creative instincts in the workplace – through team development programs as well as through career coaching and pre-hire selection and development assessments. Meredith is passionate about empowering teams and their leaders to focus on what they do best in order to deliver better bottom-line results, increase productivity and improve efficiency.

Meredith has worked with clients across industries including travel and hospitality; large international retailers; oil and gas; credit unions, banks and other financial services organizations; supply chain and distribution; sales; health care and insurance; publishing; and national and community-based nonprofits. Meredith brings her energy, contagious positivity and wicked sense of humor to every interaction and relationship in order to build trust and foster authentic partnerships so ICC and our clients can get great work done together.

Meredith holds two degrees from the University of Maryland and studied language and literature at the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France. She is a Kolbe Certified Consultant, the immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce in Colorado Springs, a volunteer with The Leadership Investment in Denver and a popular public speaker.

Kathy Pennell Cooperman, MA, CSP

Kathy has been consulting to organizations for over twenty years, specializing in the areas of Leadership, Organization Development and Talent Management. As an organizational consultant, Kathy’s focus is on helping clients understand the change process, plan an effective change strategy and implement change successfully. Kathy has extensive experience working with organizations in executive coaching and leadership development, seminar/workshop design and facilitation, and creating and building high performance teams.

In her role as coach to senior leaders, Kathy has coached executives in a variety of industries across the U.S. and internationally. Her coaching includes developing, emerging, and strategic leaders, with a distinct focus on helping align individual, team, and organizational goals. She works closely with individuals to help them take ownership for their success. She coaches from a “whole person” perspective—helping leaders clarify their personal commitment to their role and organization.

By focusing on the competencies required for the leadership role, team and organizational strategy, Kathy works with the individual to utilize assessment results and create a customized development plan to drive the coaching engagement.

Kathy has an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Southern Illinois University. She completed the Advanced Program in Organization Development and Human Resource Management through Columbia University and the University of Michigan.

Beth Ronsick
Senior Executive Coach | Leadership Development Consultant

Beth is an experienced coach, trainer and facilitator. Her 13-year corporate background in the New York and Asia/Pacific advertising industries has given her a unique framework of communication, problem-solving, and intercultural experience to bring to her passion for developing people.

As a coach, Beth uses provocative questions, emotional intelligence, unbiased feedback, and a healthy dose of accountability to help employees grow and perform optimally. She enjoys guiding clients through transition periods and specializes in helping senior executives to find their own signature leadership styles, as well as helping them to build trusting, influential relationships with their peers and teams.

As a trainer and facilitator, Beth is known for her capacity to hold a group’s vision while simultaneously moving them toward concrete, actionable results. She has taught executives from more than 25 countries in areas of leadership, presentation skills, creativity, career self-management and branding. She has also taught seniors and Master’s candidates as an Associate Professor for the University of Missouri-Columbia’s School of Journalism.

Beth spent seven of the last 10 years in Asia. Most recently, she ran a coaching and consulting practice in Shanghai for four years, where she worked with both Chinese and Western executives and entrepreneurs. Prior to Shanghai, she spent three years in Hong Kong working for advertising giant Ogilvy & Mather as the regional manager of training and people development for 5,000+ employees across Asia/Pacific, including China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. In this role, she created and delivered training programs, tools and strategies to grow and retain top talent.

Before her transition to coaching and training, Beth was an award-winning advertising copywriter for Chiat/Day and Ogilvy in New York on brands including IBM, Reebok, American Express, Kodak and Unilever. Beth holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and has Myers-Briggs Accreditation. She maintains a private coaching practice in Denver.


Bill Horst, PhD

Bill has over twenty years of consulting experience and is committed to providing the highest quality of customized service that enhances performance by individuals, teams and organizations. Bill develops partnerships with senior executives to increase lead­ership, organizational effectiveness and communication. His expertise ranges from execu­tive coaching and assessment to team development and organizational studies. His as­sessments of talent and cultures during mergers / acquisitions leads to rapid integration that impacts the bottom line for corporations. Bill’s consultations with new executives through on-boarding and integration improve their abilities to quickly solve problems and create a team environment. His expertise is sought globally by organizations from start-ups, venture capital, nonprofits, family businesses and the nuclear power industry to large private and Fortune 500 companies.

Bill has worked as a Senior Consultant, Account Manager and internal faculty member with RHR International, a senior management consulting firm, providing executive coaching to leaders within companies such as K.N. Energy, Children’s Hospital, Catholic Health, Cen­tura and WSC in London. He has also been an internal Human Resource Consultant and taught at multiple colleges in the areas of psychology and management. Bill received a B.A. and an M.S. from Creighton University; his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology was re­ceived from Michigan State University.

He is a board member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, and holds memberships in the International Consortium of Coaching in Organizations, the American Psychological Association, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Society for Human Resource Planning. A licensed psychologist, Bill is certified in many assessment instruments, including Emergenetics, the Denison Culture Survey, Kolbe and Hogan.


Evan Roth
Senior Executive Coach | Leadership Development Consultant

Evan helps executives to thrive in the corporate world. His many executive coaching clients appreciate both his affirming and challenging approach to help them reach their goals. By building trust with the coach and confidence in the coaching process, clients move quickly and sustainably to new ways of thinking and behaving, leveraged through the rest of their careers.

Prior to launching his own practice, Evan held executive positions for nearly 30 years in the banking and technology sectors. He has had P & L responsibilities in private and public international companies, in roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Learning Officer and General Manager. Most recently he was the head of Human Resources for an NYSE traded company. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration. He has created several leadership and organizational development programs.

Evan holds a BS in Accounting from Goshen College and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He also has a degree from the School for Bank Administration in Financial Management and Control. Evan runs a private executive coaching business where he also provides consulting solutions for strategy development, leadership development, team effectiveness, culture enhancement, succession planning, merger integration, and executive meeting facilitation.

He is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. He is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. He is certified in the EQi2.0 for emotional intelligence and is also certified in the Conflict Dynamics Profile. Lisa Shelley

Lisa helps organizations and individuals achieve success through positive change. She is a systems-based strategic thinker providing clarity and direction to help her clients to: 1) define their vision for positive growth, 2) understand the landscape they need to traverse, and 3) define and implement the necessary operational focus to achieve sustainable results. Lisa is passionate about helping businesses build organizational cultures that support and enable employees to perform at their best.

Lisa has worked with clients across many industries including manufacturing, media, professional services, and also with clients in the non-profit sector. Prior to founding Essentia, Lisa was an executive leader for GE Aviation. During her 23-year career at GE, she held leadership roles in Engineering, Customer Support, Product Management and Human Resources. Her diverse leadership experience across many different business functions informs the realistic and grounded guidance she provides to her clients.

Liz Wilson
Senior Leadership & Change Management Consultant | Training Designer & Facilitator

Liz Wilson is the Founder of Wilson Foxen LLC and a consulting associate with ICC, Inc. Liz provides organizational change management, HR strategy & training, and career development expertise to large and mid-size companies and individuals. With over 12 years at the Walt Disney Company, she learned from top Fortune 100 leaders in the areas of leadership, organizational culture, and change management and developed her skills as a leader in human resources and training. Her niche in culture development evolved to include change management, higher education and career transition, with emphasis in on-boarding and post-military careers. Liz provides support to leaders and human resources professionals by identifying root issues that are preventing them from achieving business goals and developing a strategy to address and move beyond barriers. Liz’s clients commend her insight, innovation, practical applications and collaborative problem solving.

As a consultant, Liz has corporate leadership and training expertise, including cultural orientation, communication, customer service, and leadership development. She is an expert facilitator with exceptional ability to relate to all levels of employees and is recognized for the unique ability to adapt message and delivery mechanism in wide variety of environments and to diverse audiences. Kerm Hamilton, MEd
Senior Career Transition Coach | Trainer

Kerm works with individuals and teams in facilitating sustained change through conscious choices. Kerm has a passion for developing talent, skills, self-awareness and performance in people and organizations. He has assisted hundreds of clients with their professional and personal development through individual coaching/counseling sessions and group training/facilitation to deliver the most current methods for job search and career transition.

Prior to launching his own consultancy, Kerm spent 26 years as a manager in the telecommunications industry. Twenty-two of those years were spent in human resources, with significant responsibilities ranging from hiring to firing, and most hands-on HR functions. Challenging assignments include supervising a staff of 38 employees, in 11 different states and being a member of a management team that successfully negotiated a groundbreaking collective bargaining agreement covering over 40,000 union employees. These experiences make him more than just another consultant.

Kerm holds a BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Education from Western Washington University. Kerm maintains a private coaching practice and is a Certified Life and Career Transition Coach through the Hudson Institute. He has certification as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner (INFJ) and is a certified Quality Consultant with Qualtec. Kim Robinson, SPHR
Senior Career Transition Coach

Kim Robinson is a career coach with a passion for helping people find work that they love and supporting them in achieving performance excellence.

As an experienced career coach and Human Resources leaders, Kim brings insight and understanding about how organizations work, the people in them and how careers are created. She believes that work can and should be far more than a paycheck and, at their very best, careers are meaningful and fulfilling.

Kim’s HR experience includes 9 years in senior management positions and spans multiple industries including health care, banking and financial services non-profits, and higher education. She enjoys building successful recruiting teams and processes that support organizational strategy and growth.

Kim successfully completed the CoActive Coach Training program through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and holds a BA from the University of Virginia. She is a qualified MBTI facilitator.


Mike Boyd, DM, SPHR

Mike has over 30 years’ experience in business development, general management and human resources as an executive in International Fortune 500 Companies, hi tech start- ups, and as the President/CEO of a successful start-up corporation.

The focus of his corporate and consulting experience has been in addressing effectiveness for organizations, teams, and individuals. His work includes conducting organizational assessments as the basis for aligning available competencies and processes with the organization’s goals and strategies. He has designed and delivered a wide variety of services including Leadership skills, Change Management, Career Management, Executive Coaching, Behavioral Interviewing, Diversity Training, and Conflict Resolution.

Mike is certified by the HR certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). His undergraduate degree is in Philosophy and he has an MBA with an emphasis in Organizational Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. A life-long learner; he recently completed his Doctorate in Management specializing in Organizational Development and Change to augment the experience of an extensive career in the field.

He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the Society for Human Resource Management. Jill Thompson
Senior Career Transition Coach

Jill partners with individuals to deliver the most current methods for job search and career transition. She enjoys guiding clients through transition periods with individual coaching, resume development, and personal branding. Jill also specializes in project management and support in delivering optimal leadership development summits.

Jill has been with ICC for 3 years, and prior to that she spent 10 years in both the staffing and retail industry. Her work included recruitment, sales, and management. She was a top sales producer in her market.

Jill received her degree in Marketing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Jill sits on the Franklin Accountability Committee for Littleton Public Schools. She also volunteers her time in the post grad office at a local high school.


Amy Twiggs
Senior Trainer and Career Transition Coach

Amy partners with individuals and teams to help them reach their highest performance potential in the workplace. Her passions include customer service and engagement, as well as helping to build high functioning teams through smart hiring practices, thoughtful on-boarding and continued learning and development for all team members.

Prior to joining ICC Amy worked for a large global retailer for over 20 years as a General Manager and Trainer. She led the opening of numerous stores; hiring, training and developing staffs of up to 120 people. She has trained and developed individuals with wide ranging responsibilities from front line service workers to middle managers to store managers.

Amy’s greatest strength lies in developing authentic connections with the people she coaches and trains, her sense of humor and passion. Her delight in the work she does is transmitted into all of the sessions she leads.

Amy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
